LotsTeam and UserJot both give you a feedback board with votes, a public roadmap, a changelog and an MCP server for your AI agent. LotsTeam costs $9 per project a month, with the MCP server, a task board and a support inbox on every plan and unlimited team members. UserJot's plans are $0, $29 and $59 a month, and its MCP server starts on the $29 plan.

If you're a founder or a lean team, you work in ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code, and you want the agent to run requests, tasks, support replies and the changelog under your own permissions, LotsTeam is the better fit. If you want live chat inside your product with an AI support agent, or a free plan that never expires, look at UserJot.

Everything about UserJot below comes from its own pricing page, MCP page, help center and `llms.txt`, checked on 24 October 2026, with links at the end. In LotsTeam a "post" means a piece of product feedback, such as a request, a bug or an idea, and a "project" is one product's workspace.

## LotsTeam vs UserJot at a glance

| | LotsTeam | UserJot |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Founders and lean teams who run feedback, tasks, support and the changelog from their own AI agent | SaaS teams who want feedback boards, a roadmap, a changelog and live chat with an AI support agent in one widget |
| What you pay for | Projects: $9 each, or $24 for 3, $69 for 10, $159 for 30 | Feature tiers per workspace: Free $0, Starter $29, Professional $59 a month (checked 24 October 2026, monthly view) |
| Team | Unlimited team members on every plan | 3 team members on Free; unlimited on Starter and Professional |
| End users who post and vote | Not counted | Unlimited on every plan |
| MCP server | Every plan and pay as you go | Starter and Professional; not on Free |
| How the agent signs in | OAuth as the person, no key pasted; the agent gets that person's role | API token sent as a bearer header; the token can reach the whole workspace |

## Where LotsTeam is the better choice

### The MCP server is on every plan, and the agent works with your permissions

LotsTeam includes the MCP server (`https://api.lots.team/mcp`) and the REST API on every plan and on pay as you go. You add the URL as a connector, sign in with the email you use for LotsTeam, and no key is pasted into the chat. The agent acts as that person: a viewer reads, a member works inside their projects, and nothing the agent does is wider than your own role.

UserJot's MCP server is on Starter ($29 a month) and Professional ($59). It connects with an API token in a bearer header, created under Settings, then API Tokens. UserJot's own MCP page says a token can reach your whole workspace, so it suggests one token per agent that you can revoke, and trying new workflows in a test workspace first. That is a clear way to be honest about the model, and it is a different one from signing in as a person.

### An agent that can't delete your requests

The LotsTeam tools can read, create, update, link and merge. Merging duplicates moves their votes and task links to the post you keep and deletes nothing. There is no tool to delete a post, a task, a board or a project, and deleting a project stays in the dashboard. The only deletes are an unpublished changelog draft (owners and admins) and your own comments, and the agent asks you before it does either.

UserJot's MCP page says plainly that an agent can delete requests, comments, boards and changelog posts, and advises having your agent leave changelog posts as drafts for you to publish. If you'd rather hand an agent your feedback without that risk, this is the difference that matters.

### One price per project, not per feature tier

LotsTeam doesn't gate features by plan. Custom domain, the MCP server, the task board, the support inbox and team roles are in every plan, and a project costs $9 a month on pay as you go however many people work in it. UserJot gates features by tier: the custom domain, guest posting, private boards and automatic login start on Starter, and single sign-on, unlimited boards, advanced search and removing the UserJot branding are on Professional.

Here is one product with the MCP server switched on, at list prices checked on 24 October 2026 (UserJot's prices are the monthly view on its pricing page):

| What you need | LotsTeam (one project, pay as you go) | UserJot plan you'd need |
|---|---|---|
| MCP server and a custom domain | $9 | Starter, $29 |
| MCP plus unlimited boards, SSO and advanced search | $9 | Professional, $59 |

For three products, LotsTeam's Starter plan is $24 a month. UserJot's plans also include things LotsTeam doesn't, such as single sign-on for your board and its live chat, so this compares the price model, not identical scope. UserJot has a free plan with no MCP server; LotsTeam's 10,000 free credits, valid 90 days with no card, run one project for a month with the MCP server and REST API on.

### A task board next to the requests

In LotsTeam, a request from the widget or the portal, the task that comes from it, the support thread where a customer asked about it and the changelog entry that announces it all sit in one project. Your agent reads and prioritises the requests, merges duplicates, creates a task and links every post that asked for the same thing to it. You can see that run on a test project in [How to Prioritize Feature Requests With an AI Agent](https://blog.lots.team/prioritize-feature-requests-with-ai-agent). For how other tools connect feedback to delivery, see [The Best Tools to Link Feedback to Tasks](https://blog.lots.team/best-tools-to-link-feedback-to-tasks).

### The agent can also set up projects and teammates

Besides the daily work, the LotsTeam agent can create a project (it's billed, so it confirms with you first), update the name, logo and portal settings, connect a custom portal domain, and invite teammates by email, change their role or remove them, after you confirm each change. Billing, the widget and deleting a project stay in the dashboard, which does the whole job too.

### Unlimited team members on every plan

LotsTeam doesn't count seats: organizations and team members are unlimited on every plan, and nobody counts the people who post or vote. UserJot doesn't charge for end users either, and its paid plans have unlimited team members; its Free plan holds 3.

## Where UserJot fits

UserJot is a focused product, and it has real strengths:

- **Live chat and a shared inbox in the widget.** Customers message your team from inside your product, forwarded support email lands in the same inbox, and a request asked for in chat can become a vote on your board. Conversations is in beta and free while it is.
- **Juno, an AI support agent.** She answers from your docs and the sites you point her at, replies in the customer's language, and hands off to your team with a private note. UserJot says live chat and Juno aren't part of any plan's price yet.
- **A free plan with no time limit.** Free includes unlimited posts and users, 2 feedback boards, a public roadmap, a public changelog and the widget. It has no MCP server.
- **Voters hear when it ships.** When a request changes status, everyone who posted, voted or commented gets an email, and changelog posts link the requests they close.
- **Importers.** A Canny importer brings boards, posts, votes, comments and changelog entries, Nolt and ProductRoad have their own, and anything else comes in by CSV.
- **Sign-in and privacy options.** Automatic login, JWT single sign-on, private boards, guest posting and public identity masking.
- **A broad agent surface.** A remote MCP server with setup guides for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT and Windsurf, an OpenAPI REST API, and a headless mode for scheduled agents that work the inbox and board.
- **A Swift SDK for iOS**, plus Slack, Discord, Linear and webhook integrations.

## Run it from your AI agent

Give your agent this and let it set itself up:

> Read https://lots.team/skill.md and help me connect LotsTeam for you.

LotsTeam has no importer from UserJot, so moving over is a job for your agent. Connect both MCP servers (UserJot's with its API token), then ask:

> Using the UserJot connector, list my open feature requests on every board with their vote counts, authors' emails and names where UserJot has them. Show me the list first. For each one I approve, call create_post in my LotsTeam project with the same title and description, category "feature", the author's email and user_name, and the vote count written at the end of the description. Then group the posts that ask for the same thing, call merge_posts on true duplicates, create one task per group with create_task, and link each post to its task with link_post_to_task. Finally list my last UserJot changelog posts and save each as a draft with create_changelog. Don't publish anything.

Logging a post with the requester's email means they can be told when the work ships, and `create_changelog` only saves drafts: nothing goes public until you publish. Keep your UserJot workspace until you've checked the result. The MCP server is `https://api.lots.team/mcp`. Plans and credits are explained in [LotsTeam Pricing Explained](https://blog.lots.team/lotsteam-pricing-explained) and on [lots.team/pricing](https://lots.team/pricing); extra projects beyond a plan are at your plan's rate, and [LotsNotes Pro](https://lotsnotes.com/pricing?utm_source=blog-lotsteam&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=launch-2026-10-20) is included with the Pro and Business plans.

## Common questions

### Is LotsTeam a UserJot alternative?

Yes, for feedback boards with votes, a public roadmap, a changelog and an MCP server, plus a task board and support inbox built in. LotsTeam charges per project with unlimited team members and has the MCP server on every plan. For live chat with an AI support agent, a Swift SDK or a free plan that never expires, look at UserJot.

### How much does UserJot cost?

UserJot has a Free plan at $0, Starter at $29 a month and Professional at $59 a month, with unlimited users and posts on every plan. Free has 2 boards and 3 team members; Starter has 5 boards, a custom domain, guest posting, private boards and one integration; Professional adds unlimited boards, single sign-on, advanced search and unlimited integrations. The first Starter or Professional subscription has a 14-day trial. Prices checked on 24 October 2026.

### Does UserJot have an MCP server?

Yes. It's a remote server that connects with an API token, and it works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT and other clients that accept a custom header. It's on Starter and Professional, not on Free. UserJot says a token can reach the whole workspace and an agent can delete requests, comments, boards and changelog posts. LotsTeam's MCP server is on every plan, and the agent can't delete requests or boards.

### Does UserJot have live chat?

Yes. Conversations adds live chat to the widget and a shared inbox with email forwarding, and Juno, an AI agent, answers first. It's in beta and free while in beta. LotsTeam's support inbox lets your own agent draft replies that you approve before they're sent.

### Does LotsTeam charge per seat?

No. You pay for projects: $9 per project a month on pay as you go, or $24, $69 or $159 a month for 3, 10 or 30 projects. Organizations and team members are unlimited, and nobody counts the people who post or vote.

### Can I move from UserJot to LotsTeam?

There's no importer. Connect both MCP servers to your agent and have it read your UserJot requests and log them in LotsTeam with create_post, keeping each requester's email where UserJot has it, then merge duplicates and group them into tasks. The prompt is above.
