The right tool to link feedback to tasks depends on where your tasks live. For requests, tasks and the changelog in one workspace your AI agent runs, with the people who asked emailed when it ships, LotsTeam does it from $9 per project. If engineering works in Linear or Jira, Featurebase, Canny, Productlane and Upvoty link feedback to those issues.
Linking feedback to a task does two jobs. It shows the team who asked for the work and how many asked, and it gives you a list of people to tell when the work ships. A tool that only does the first leaves you writing those updates by hand. So for each tool below I checked three things on its own pricing page and docs on 15 October 2026: what the feedback links to, whether status flows back, and whether the people who asked hear about it. In LotsTeam a "post" means a piece of product feedback, such as a request, a bug or an idea.

A dash means the pages I checked don't describe it. Prices are what each vendor lists; check their pages before you buy.
1. LotsTeam
LotsTeam keeps the request and the work in the same place. A request arrives from the site widget or the public portal (or your agent logs one you heard on a call), you or your agent create a task, and link_post_to_task attaches the request to it. A task can carry many posts, so three people asking for the same thing in different words all sit on one task. When the work ships, you publish a changelog entry linked to that task and choose whether to email the people who asked. Each person gets one email, even if they posted twice; it's capped at 100 people per entry, sent once per entry, and each email has an unsubscribe link. Anonymous voters have no email address, so they aren't emailed.
Here is what that looks like in my Demo App test project, which holds sample feedback from the triage run. Asking the agent which requests sit behind the Outlook sync task calls list_linked_posts and returns three posts:
task: Add Outlook and Microsoft 365 calendar sync (high)
linked posts:
"Sync with Outlook calendar" Priya (sample)
"Microsoft 365 integration please" Marco (sample)
"Can I connect my Office 365 calendar?" Dana (sample)
The bug fix task next to it already has a changelog draft linked to it with "notify the people who asked" switched on, so publishing it is the step that tells the reporter. The full flow is in How to Publish a Changelog and Notify the People Who Asked.
- Price: $9 per project a month with pay as you go, or plans of $24 for 3 projects, $69 for 10 and $159 for 30. Yearly is 10 times the monthly price. Organizations and team members are unlimited, and Pro and Business also include LotsNotes Pro.
- Agent access: MCP server and REST API on every plan. The agent works with the permissions of the person who signed in, and it can link, unlink and merge duplicate posts so everyone who asked stays on the task.
- Free start: 10,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card.
- Fits: founders and lean teams who track the work in LotsTeam's own task board and want the agent to run the whole loop. If engineering lives in Linear or Jira, the tools below sync with those.
2. Featurebase
Featurebase is a support and feedback suite. Its Linear integration lets you open a post, click the Linear icon, and either create a new issue or link an existing issue or project. Sync rules move statuses both ways, and each rule has a notification setting: set to Notify, every upvoter gets an email when the status changes in Linear.
- Plan gate: issue management (Linear, Jira, ClickUp, GitHub) starts on Growth; Azure DevOps is on Enterprise. The free plan doesn't include it.
- Price: $29, $59 and $99 per seat a month on Growth, Professional and Enterprise, billed yearly, plus a free plan with one seat.
- Fits: teams that want a helpdesk and feedback in one suite, with engineering in Linear or Jira.
3. Canny
Canny links feedback to Jira, ClickUp, Linear, Asana, GitHub and Azure DevOps. In its current Ideas experience you open an idea and use the Linked issues section to search for a Linear issue or project or create one, and statuses sync both ways. Each idea links to one Linear issue or project. Canny emails voters when a post's status changes, and its help center says those changes can come from Jira, ClickUp or Linear.
- Plan gate: the Linear integration is on Pro and Business, and the pricing page lists PM integrations from Pro.
- Price: free for 25 tracked users; Pro from $79 a month billed yearly for 100+ tracked users. The price follows the number of people who give feedback.
- Fits: teams that already collect feedback in Canny and track work in one of those six tools.
4. Productlane
Productlane is a support platform for software teams built around Linear. You can link any support thread to an existing Linear issue or project, or create one from the thread, and Productlane records it as a customer request on the issue with the feedback and the contact. Completing a Linear project can generate a changelog draft for you to review and publish.
- Plan gate: the Linear integration is on all four plans; email and Slack broadcasts of the changelog start on Pro.
- Price: $29, $59 and $99 per user a month on Starter, Pro and Scale, billed yearly, plus Enterprise.
- Fits: teams whose support and engineering already run on Linear.
5. Upvoty
Upvoty turns a feedback post into a Jira or Linear issue with the title, description, vote count and a link back. Status syncs both ways, and when the issue moves to Done, voters are notified that it shipped.
- Plan gate: the pricing page lists "All integrations" on Super and Hyper, while its Linear page says the Linear integration is free on all plans. Upvoty's MCP server is on Hyper.
- Price: Power $15, Super $25 and Hyper $49 a month, billed monthly (annual saves 10%), with unlimited tracked users.
- Fits: small teams that want a low flat price and an automatic "it shipped" note to voters.
6. Sleekplan
Sleekplan's Linear integration puts a Linear panel on every feedback post: search for an existing issue to link it, or create a new one, and Sleekplan adds a link back to the post on the issue. You map each Linear workflow state to a Sleekplan status, and changes flow both ways. Its Jira Cloud integration does the same for Jira.
- Plan gate: standard integrations, including Jira, start on Starter.
- Price: a free Indie plan, Starter at $13 a month and Business at $38 a month, billed yearly.
- Fits: teams that want feedback, roadmap and changelog in one tool at a low price, with issues in Linear or Jira.
7. Nolt
Nolt is a feedback board with dozens of integrations. Its integrations page says it creates and manages Jira issues from feedback, pushes feedback into Linear, sends ideas to GitHub and Asana, and offers two-way sync with selected project-management tools.
- Plan gate: GitHub and Trello are on Essential; Jira, Linear, monday.com and Asana are on Pro.
- Price: Essential $29 a month and Pro $69 a month, billed annually, with unlimited users and admins.
- Fits: teams on Jira or Linear that want a simple voting board.
8. AnnounceKit
AnnounceKit is a product communication platform. Its Jira integration imports feature requests collected in AnnounceKit as Jira tickets, maps Jira statuses to roadmap stages, and can create a changelog draft when a ticket reaches a status such as Done.
- Plan gate: Jira comes with the Feature Requests & Roadmap product.
- Price: $49 a month, or $39 billed annually.
- Fits: teams that care most about announcing what shipped, with engineering in Jira.
9. Frill
Frill sends an idea to Jira Cloud or Linear as an issue, with the idea's details and a link back to Frill, and the idea page then shows a link to the issue. For Linear you choose the team, project and starting status.
- Plan gate: Frill says most integrations are on paid plans.
- Price: Startup $25, Business $49, Growth $149 and Enterprise $349 a month, with unlimited teammates.
- Fits: teams that want ideas, a roadmap and announcements together and send the chosen ideas to engineering.
10. Productboard
Productboard is a product management platform for larger teams. Feedback from email, support tickets, calls and other sources lands in one place, and you link it to a feature as an "insight", which also adds to the feature's Customer Importance Score. Features can be pushed to Jira or linked to existing Jira issues, and a Jira status can update the feature's status.
- Plan gate: the Jira integration and "Notify idea & feedback contributors" are on Business and Enterprise.
- Price: not listed; Business starts with a demo request and a minimum of five makers.
- Fits: product teams that weigh feedback by customer and plan releases in Jira.
What I left out
UserJot came up as a candidate. Its pages show a changelog post that links back to the request and emails every voter the day it ships, which is useful, but I found no link from a request to a Linear or Jira issue on its pricing or product pages, so it isn't on this list.
How to choose
- You track work in the feedback tool itself and want your agent to run it: LotsTeam. The request, the task and the changelog entry are linked records, and the email to the people who asked is one opt-in on publish.
- Engineering works in Linear: Featurebase, Canny, Productlane, Upvoty or Sleekplan, depending on whether you also need a helpdesk (Featurebase, Productlane) or the lowest flat price (Upvoty, Sleekplan).
- Engineering works in Jira: Featurebase, Canny, Upvoty, Sleekplan, Nolt, AnnounceKit, Frill or Productboard.
- You want voters emailed when the issue closes: Featurebase, Canny and Upvoty describe this for status changes in the issue tracker.
Run it from your AI agent
Connect LotsTeam with this prompt:
Read https://lots.team/skill.md and help me connect LotsTeam for you.
Then ask for the linking work in plain words:
List the open posts in my project. Group the ones that ask for the same thing, create a task for each group, and link every post in the group to its task. Don't publish or email anything.
The MCP server is at https://api.lots.team/mcp (setup). New accounts start with 10,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card. See pricing, or compare LotsTeam with other tools.
Common questions
How do I link customer feedback to a task?
In LotsTeam, open the task and link the posts behind it, or ask your agent to, which calls link_post_to_task. In tools that sync with Linear or Jira, you open the feedback post and use its Linear or Jira panel to link an existing issue or create a new one.
Can one task carry several feature requests?
In LotsTeam, yes: a task can carry many posts, and linking the same post again changes nothing. Merging duplicate posts also links everyone to the same tasks, so everyone who asked is told when it ships. In Productboard, many feedback notes can link to one feature as insights.
How do I tell users when their request ships?
In LotsTeam, publish a changelog entry linked to the task and turn on "notify the people who asked". The authors of the linked posts get one email each. Featurebase, Canny and Upvoty can email voters when the linked issue's status changes.
Does LotsTeam sync with Linear or Jira?
No. LotsTeam has its own task board, and the agent links requests to those tasks. If your engineers work in Linear or Jira, Featurebase, Canny, Productlane, Upvoty, Sleekplan, Nolt, AnnounceKit, Frill and Productboard connect to one or both.
Which of these tools link feedback to Linear?
Featurebase, Canny, Productlane, Upvoty, Sleekplan, Nolt and Frill all describe a Linear integration on their own pages. Productlane includes it on every plan, Canny on Pro and Business, Featurebase from Growth and Nolt on Pro.
Can my AI agent do the linking?
In LotsTeam, yes: linking, unlinking and listing linked posts are MCP tools on every plan, and the agent acts with your permissions. Other tools here have MCP servers or APIs too; check each one's tool list for linking before you rely on it.
